Pablo Venturino
Co-Founder, AVC Turing
I’ve always been drawn to systems, how they function, how they break, and how they can be made better. That curiosity led me, as a teenager in Argentina, to the military. But it wasn’t long before I realized my path would follow a different kind of structure: the kind found in code, algorithms, and eventually capital markets.
I studied computer science and applied mathematics, then economics. By the early 1990s, I found myself at the intersection of all three, on Wall Street, where I spent the next two decades solving financial problems for companies and governments across the world. At ABN AMRO in New York, I led the Investment Banking team, structuring billions in complex transactions and advising clients through volatile cycles, restructurings, and global crises.
But what always excited me most wasn’t the deal; it was the design. The architecture of a transaction. The challenge of making the improbable work. After co-founding White Bridge, I later joined forces with long-time peers to co-found AVC Turing, with the belief that private capital, when paired with smart global structuring, can unlock some of the most compelling opportunities in today’s markets.
AVC Turing isn’t just a fund platform. It’s a vehicle for enabling international investors to access the ideas and companies reshaping the future, from aerospace to AI. I see it as the continuation of a lifelong interest: building bridges between different systems, disciplines, and people.
Outside of work, I’m a runner, a Tai Chi practitioner, a ballet lover and a die-hard soccer fan. But above all, I’m most grounded by family, friends, and the simple act of learning something new every day.
